Happy October first!
It’s the first day of October! you’ve made it another month!
It’s time for a fresh start, a new beginning, a new leaf. Start your day by making your bed, having a glass of water, doing a few stretches and or a couple deep breaths. Take a moment to appreciate the things that you see; what colors have you observed?. Close your eyes and listen for a while. What do you hear? Reach out and touch the nearest object you find, how does it feel? Is it smooth, rigid? Take your shoes off and feel the ground on which you stand. Is it soft, hard, cold? How many different smells can you identify? Which is your favorite? you may find yourself identifying a smell you’ve forgotten about. Lastly when you have your first meal take a moment to acknowledge how it taste.

Fall into a new season with a new mindset. Set your intentions and goals on the first. Make a list of things that you find easy to accomplish and end the list with things that are more of a challenge. This way if you’ve only completed the first half of your list you’ll still have completed something. Find a new hobby this month. Brainstorm new ideas. Reach out to friends and family. Fall into who you are, leave last month’s issues behind and make it spooky!
